As some of you may have noticed, we decided it was time for a change to the name of our blog. Our blog used to be titled "Our Adoption Journey" and when I started this blog, I thought it would be finished once we brought our child home. However, I have realized over the past year, that blogging is really an online diary that other people can read. I am by no way implying that our adoption journey is over. I know we will have many adoption related experiences to deal with and celebrate over the years. It's just that I'm blogging now as a way to record memories and share our experience with family, friends, and those of you I've met along the way.
I am a different person than when I started on this road to parenthood. I believe that the way we created our family has made me a better mother, woman, and friend. And I want to celebrate the two little angels who made that possible. So my little Monkey and Spike deserve front line recognition! Plus, they often do lots of hilarious things that are fun to share with all of you!

Hi there, we just found your great blog. We are in the process of adopting from Korea, after a failed adoption with another country and agency, so it is great to read such a positive story like yours! If you have any words of widsom, we would be willing ears, and would appreciate the input.
