Wow! I feel like it has been a while since I've blogged...and so much has happened. I have to admit, it has been more difficult than I thought working full time with two kids! I have some great students this year, but my new little friends have significant needs, and I feel like I'm working a lot harder. I don't mind though, because I want them to succeed and progress...it just doesn't leave a lot of time for the computer.
And then there is Spike and Monkey. I want to soak up as much time as possible with them, so as soon as I get home from school, I'm all theirs! Spike is at such a great age right now (18 months), and he and Monkey are really starting to play together. Of course, along with the playing comes some arguing, but they are brothers after all!!!
I am going to try to update all of our adventures in the next couple days! Here is some of what we have been doing:).
There is a new park that opened near our house. The boys LOVE it because it is right near the train tracks. In this picture they are watching a freight train go by with daddy. We have been spending a lot of time there!
We went apple picking for the first time this year. It was a blast, but we had a hard time keeping Spike from eating all the apples as we picked them. He was in heaven! Monkey had a great time too. He loved picking the apples off the trees!

My good friend Kelli got married in Kohler, Wisconsin. So Andy and I actually got to get away for a night. We had a great time, and are so happy for Kelli and Kenny!

It's great hearing updates about Monkey and Spike. Those two together are so darn cute.

i love the updates! it's good to be able see the 2 boys standing still! ha! love that Spike was eating all the apples that you picked!
