Best Buds

Well, these past few months have definitely had some ups and downs health wise, so I've decided to just quit posting about our ongoing illnesses, and focus on the good stuff!

One of my favorite things to do is watch my two boys interact. Sometimes I still can't believe that I have two sons. I realize every single day how lucky I am. The best part is that they have really become best friends. Monkey will often just say how much he loves his "baby brother," and Spike is always looking for Monkey. They are just too sweet together!

I have been trying to capture some of their cuter/funnier moments on camera...and I had to start with this one...
No, I didn't have them pose for this. I was making dinner and realized it had gotten quiet. I went looking for Monkey and Spike and this is how I found them. Spike was sitting on the stool with my magazine and Monkey was looking over his shoulder. I guess it's time to start the potty training!

Somehow Monkey managed to climb into his laundry basket on laundry day. He looked so funny with his head sticking out!

Spike just couldn't quite figure out how he did it, and spent some time investigating!

One of their new games is the sleep game. They both pretend to go to sleep and then one of the boys yells to wake the other person up. It is really funny to watch and they can spend a lot of time playing this together.

Here is Monkey giving Spike a kiss "good-night." Ahhh...melts my heart!

Spike got ahold of the masking tape, and the two of them had a blast taping and untaping him!

We had pizza night the other night, and my two little sous chefs did a great job helping.

I actually think they consumed more of the cheese, than was actually placed on the pizza!

And speaking of best buds...I finally got a chance to meet my college roomates baby boy C. You might not believe it from the picture, but this cute little guy is only 4 months old. Shannon also got to meet Spike (Monkey was home sick). Since she lives in NYC, we hadn't been able to get the boys together yet. It was a great day!

And is he a little ham or what!!!??!!! He is such a smiley little guy!

We are definitely looking forward to the nice weather that is headed our way. Bring on spring!!!
