I'm a little behind on my posts, obviously, but we've done some fun things in the last few weeks, and I want to be sure to post about them all.
The 4th of July is my favorite holiday. I love that everyone can celebrate it, and it's all about spending time with family and friends. We definitely made the most of it this year!
The highlight of the weekend was the day we spent at Andy's aunt and uncle's lake house.
We went fishing off the dock. We didn't actually catch anything, but Monkey and Spike had a great time casting the line! Even if it did have the rest of us ducking for cover!
Monkey layed tennis with Momo while Spike explored the backyard with Auntie Kelly and M.
The boys rode on a boat for the first time, and after a little adjusting they both seemed to love it (although Spike was very concerned his hat would blow off!). The had a great time playing with their cousin M, and it was nice to visit with Andy's extended family. We ended up coming home that night. We are lucky enough to be able to see the fireworks from our driveway. Monkey fell asleep just before they started, but Spike managed to stay awake and loved them.
The best part was that Daddy was home for 4 days with us. I love when we all have so much time together!
