So Long...

Pacifiers!

Two weeks ago, we officially got rid of Monkey and Spike's pacifiers. It was a bittersweet moment for me, because somehow it marked the end of babyhood. Monkey has had his ever since he was in the NICU, and Spike quickly attached to his after coming home. But it was time.

So...

We mailed our pacifiers to some little babies who could not afford them. Monkey wanted to be sure that we sent them to little babies in the United States and Korea.

We watched Daddy put them in the mailbox, and that was it.

It's been an interesting 2 weeks, but overall the boys have been doing well. They have had some sleeping troubles, but have been so brave!

So good-bye pacifiers. We'll all miss you, but maybe Mommy most of all:).

Clever idea to mail them to some other babies. Do you know if they need some raggies?

So proud of your boys!

What a good idea on mailing them off! I can see how this would be bittersweet for you. You have big boys now!

I can see how that would be hard for all of you! I'm glad they are adjusting okay, though.

Great idea! I can imagine how bittersweet this moment was for mommy. It is both wonderful and difficult to watch our babies grow!

I know that bittersweet feeling when some of those "baby" things have to go away. Sounds like they are adjusting well to the change - good job, mom!

What a creative idea to mail them! Geez, I never would have thought of that. I'm glad the boys are doing ok without them.

If only I could mail the thumb Aidan sucks to some babies in need! Instead, I've started our fund for braces :)
