We've had some big changes at our house over the past few months, and many more to come!
One of the biggest has been that we made the decision for Andy to go back to school. He has worked in sales for many years, and has never been totally happy. He is now back at college and is working towards a degree in the healthcare field.
Although many of his friends are concerned about whether or not he picked out the perfect trapper keeper, or if he has started a chapter of the Lambda Epsilon Omega fraternity yet, I am honestly so proud of him for doing this. Since it's been a few years (ahem...11 of them) since we've been out of college, going back is not easy. But he is pursuing his dream, and doing something he's always wanted to do. He is taking classes that are challenging, but is focusing all of his energy on studying and doing well. It is so great to see him doing something for himself for once.
So in honor of his first day back to school I had to take a picture! Good luck Andy! I know you'll do great!

Whoa! I have total admiration for people who return to school - it's so hard once life gets going, especially with two little ones! Excellent job, Andy! and...the word "trapper keeper" brings back great memories of My Pretty Pony, which I'm sure would have looked great peeking out of his back pack :)
How AWESOME is it that Andy is headed back to school?! I absolutely LOVE when people pursue their passions, at all costs. How very, very exciting.

Yipppee for Andy! I too think it is so amazing when people decide to go after their passion and dreams and go back to school. So very exciting!
After working in the same industry since high school I am sooo over it and still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. :)

Good for him! I think it's great that he's going to DO something about changing his career when he wasn't satisfied with his current one.
