What a Difference...

Two years ago our precious Monkey was born. Two years ago our lives changed forever, for the better. Two years ago I realized what it means to be in love madly and unconditionally.

Today was a day of celebration, love, and gratefulness. I am so thankful for having him in my life. Monkey has truly made me a better person and taught me so many things, and I will never forget how lucky I am to have him as a son. We have been through a lot together and I am constantly amazed by his strength and happiness. He is truly a beautiful little person!

Happy Birthday little boy!

On the adoption front we have some great news. After six weeks of waiting, numerous emails, and one congressman later, we have our paperwork from USCIS. The envelopes arrived on the day we celebrated Monkey's birthday, so I can only believe that he is my lucky charm! After double checking to make sure we actually had the forms we needed, Andy and I celebrated with a glass of wine. This means, we are on to the National Visa Center, and can finally start tracking our paperwork! We'll keep you posted:) Thanks to everyone for their prayers and support!

Happy Birthday Monkey!!!

I really feel that those of us who struggle to become parents are given the gift of truly appreciating what a blessing our children are.
