Two Wild and Crazy Guys

Ah, life with two boys...Never a dull moment. Now that Spike is officially mobile, we barely get a chance to sit down. He loves exploring the house and is always on the move. My mom and mother-in-law, who watch him while I'm at work, have taken to barricading the rooms, so he is in a confined space. Otherwise, there is no telling where he'll end up. And Monkey has always been a bit of a daredevil, so it's not wise to take your eyes off of him for too long either!

But the funniest thing is how Monkey realizes that Spike is becoming quite the adventurer. The other morning I was in the bathroom trying to put on some make-up for work, while keeping my two boys occupied, Monkey yells out..."Mommy. My crazy brother is going up the stairs!" Sure enough, Spike was on step 5 and I had been in the bathroom less than a minute! A few days later we were playing on our new swingset (pictures will be posted later). Spike started crawling toward Monkey and he says, "Uh oh, here comes trouble!" Finally, later on that same evening, I was attempting to convince Spike NOT to climb on top of the coffee table for the 4th consecutive time when Monkey asks, "Mamma, what are we going to do with him?"
