Both of my boys are constantly doing and saying things that amaze me and make me laugh. I just had to share a few of the recent comments we've heard around our house.
As most of you know my husband is back in school. He is currently taking an anatomy class, and Monkey is fascinated with everything that Andy is studying. When Andy puts him to bed, they usually spend a while talking about the different medical names of body parts, bones and muscles. When we went to get him out of the bed the other morning, he grabbed a book from his bookshelf and said, "Look Daddy. I'm carrying this book with my phalanges." We both about fell over, and then just started laughing.
Spike has been talking a LOT more lately, and exciting us with the new words and phrases he's using every day. I was making dinner the other night and spilled some of the food on the floor. All of a sudden I heard Spike say, clear as a bell, "Oh Man!" It was too funny.
I love these moments and love listening to everything my boys have to say!

HA! Awesome. I needed to look up phalanges... sad, but true. I would LOVE to experience the "oh man!" in person... it must be a hoot!
Be sure to tell R that I'm using my phalanges like a mad woman this morning as I catch up on my blogs.
