Snowmageddon, Snowpocalypse, Snowlicious, Snowtorious, Blizaster, Sno-m-g, Snizzard...

If you haven't heard by now, the midwest was hit hard by the great blizzard of 2011. So hard, in fact, that my school district called two snow days, which is virtually unheard of! Anyway, we've been enjoying our unexpected days off. One of the benefits of Andy being in school, is that he had both days off too. We have played in the snow, watched movies, cuddled...basically soaked up our time together. Hope everyone else stayed warm and had as much fun as we did!

Your title totally cracked me up! I'm really enjoying seeing all your photos (and the other SS's, too) because it's hard for me to even imagine this much snow in this short period of time. Great photos of the boys enjoying the white stuff! And congrats on having two days off as a family!!

sno-m-g was my absolute favorite name for the big storms we got in dc last year :) we actually ended up having a full week off for each! we're really whimpy around these parts -- we just got off 3 days for 8 inches. crazypants, i tell you!
i hope you enjoyed your unexpected days off -- snow days are the absolute best! hope the melting comes quickly, though!

Looks like the snow up there was actually soft and fluffy to play in...ours was rock hard! Our feet wouldn't even make a dent and my kids ended up "ice-skating" in the backyard!

Snow days rock. Especially since they mean lots of fun and togetherness and fantastic snow pictures. So happy you got TWO!!

We loved the time together too! It was a ton of snow. Our district never closes for two days.

Your photos are great! I love the boys playing in the snow. :)

That's a lot of snow! It was more hype than anything here. I was actually quite disappointed,

Now, this is what warrants a snow day (or two!) Great photos ... and even better headline. I love it! And holy cow, when the boys stand in the path, you can totally see how much snow there was! Yikes.
