Parks and Playdates

Over the past few weeks, it hit me how quickly summer is flying by. I have a renewed sense of determination to squeeze in as much fun with my boys and our friends as possible. Since the weather and our schedules have been cooperating, we've been able to do some really fun things.

For Father's Day the boys wanted to take Peepaw to the zoo. We finally made it there last week. It was a perfect evening, the zoo wasn't too crowded, and everyone had a great time!

We also took a family "hiking" trip to a local state park. We walked around the lake and found a steep river bank that the boys had a blast climging. They also did some leaf collecting and rock throwing. A great time was had by all!

We also got together with our good friend J and his mommy at a cute little farm near our house. There were train rides, a merry-go-round, a hay ride, pedal-tractor rides, and more time on the train. It's so fun to see the boys together!
