It's hard to believe 2008 has come to a close. It was a pretty good year, full of surprises.
Today is a special day for our family. Two years ago, January 1, Monkey was finally released from the NICU and came home with us. It was a great way to start the new year, and today reminds us once again how lucky we are that he is safe, happy and healthy!
Our family is really looking forward to 2009. We will get to bring Spike home this year, and complete our family that we have waited and worked for. Who knows what else the coming year will bring. I do know for sure that it will be filled with love and laughter along the way.

Happy New Year! Your 2009 will be amazing. How wonderful to be finally bringing Spike home... attaching and bonding with him... teaching him and being taught by him... loving and being loved by him. You will have an amazing year!
2009 is going to be an amazing year - Spike is coming home! Monkey is going to be a big brother! You will see your two boys bond and play together. Amazing!
