Silly Spike

Because I find both my boys hilarious, and in the interest of fairness, I have to post a list of Spike's special moments. Spike is currently making progress in speech therapy, and his therapist is wonderful, but sometimes his way of communicating can be creative! Add to that the fact that he is VERY active and fearless, and we are constantly laughing with him. Here are a few examples...

*We were coloring with sidewalk chalk and I gave the boys the two minute warning to go inside. He looked at me with his little index finger high in the air and said "MO." (1 more minute). I swear he was batting his eyes at the same time!

*Spike has recently started to be interested in using the potty. However, whenever he sits on it, he insists on grabbing a magazine and looking through it.

*I know I've mentioned this in a post before, but...When he rides his bike, he won't put his feet on the pedals. He scoots himself as far forward as he can and then propels the bike forward by running on his tippy toes.

*He has an obsession with hiding things. You name it, he hides it-keys, the remote, the phone, anything that is somewhat important. And you never know where it will be. We've found things in the refrigerator, under the couch, on the windowsill...If it's gone missing, it's usually because Spike's "reorganized."

*When Spike passes gas and you ask him who did it, he will ALWAYS blame someone else. He will immediately point at whoever is closest to him and say "Eh, eh, eh!"

*My favorite is his "evil" smile. Whenever he thinks he is doing something he is not supposed to, he gets a special smirk on his face. You can see it starting in the picture below. Sometimes it starts before he's about to do something, so I can catch him in the act!
