Luckily, for Spike's Homecoming day, everyone was miraculously healthy. We started the day at B*ild a Be*r, so both boys could make an animal. Andy and I recorded a little message for each of them that was placed inside their animals.
Monkey with "Bum Bum" giving him an air bath.
Spike with Panda doing the same.
The biggest hit that morning was the merry go round that was in the middle of the mall. We got the whole ride to ourselves, and the boys had a great time! Then Monkey noticed a fountain that shoots water into the air, so we spend some quality time there too.

That night we went to H-mart to pick of some ingredients for our Sunday dinner, and the boys had fun playing with all of the Por*ro toys. Since we were having a big Korean dinner the next day, we ended up at the train restaurant for dinner. This place is a huge hit with Monkey and Spike. They have a few model train displays, and they serve your dinner on a train that circles around the restaurant. Honestly, the food isn't that great, but if the kids had it there way, we'd be there every night.

For dessert I made a giant cookie with M*M's because they are Spike's favorite. We had a great time singing to him and watching him try to blow out the candle. The boys liked the cookie, but their favorite part was the icing. In the end, I had to throw most of the cookie away because they has literally licked all the icing off. It was fun to watch them enjoy it so much!

On Sunday we had the grandparents over for dinner to celebrate with us. We made a Korean feast, which actually turned out really well. We had mandu, jap chae, and kalbi. Spike couldn't get enough of everything, which isn't surprising, but we were glad he enjoyed the food so much.
Spike is diving into the mandu. (We got those plates at H-mart...they were made in Korea!)
Jap Chae. (I forgot to take a picture of the kalbi.)

Of course we had some Korean drinks! Beer and rice wine...yum!
Uncle Tim, Pops, Momo, Meemaw, and Nonni.
The kiddie table:).
Hanging out with Peepaw and Uncle Jeff.
Cheers!
Of course, balloons were a part of the day.It was a great way to mark the anniversary of Spike's homecoming. I am so happy that he is a part of our family.
And I have to end with one more picture...The boys both got their hair cut this weekend. Aren't they adorable?
